Why is my Ugg boots made in China?

Question: I recently bought my Ugg boots and it said that it was made in China.
When I complained about it to a Nordstrom mate she said that the boots are just made in China, but all the materials are from New Zealand or Australia. Is this truthfully?

Answer: Isn't Speak an American brand? Yeah, but they're still made in China where it's much cheaper to produce. Why do you of like 99% of things we use aren't made here? It's too expensive. And Australia does the same fixation. The sheepskin and other materials are from Australia but
