can I wear a purple dress with purple shoes, bag and fascinator? I have a gorgeous mink faux fur coat.?

Question: I have a comely but simple purple dress for my brother in laws mixture. I have teamed it with fascinator, bag and shoes in purple too. The wedding is in January so will be ice-cold so I was going to wear a mink colour faux fur coat. A friend said it may be too much purple

Answer: I would have the shoes and bag in scurvy, blush, or even red so the outfit isn't too matchy-matchy. Keep the purple fascinator but perhaps add a puny clip to the hat (in the color of the shoes and bag) so everything is pulled together. Have fun at the wedding!! ; )
