What type of women's winter jacket do I need? Suggestions on brand and style?

Question: I recently moved to upstate NY and distress to buy a good winter jacket. I will most likely spend less than 2 hours surface going to work and such with occasional weekend sledding and if I'm blessed, a snow mobile ride or two. I've been looking at ski/snowboard jackets but

Answer: I plug Burton.. they make great quality stuff.
sometimes a bit precious... u gotta get it on the off season
