[England 1799] Ladies outerwear?
Question: During this spell (The Rococo period) what did one call the coats a lady would wear?? Like, in the Regency era, Ladies wore "Petticoats" or "Pellisses" (?) but I don't propose b assess I ever saw a picture of a lady in the 1799 portraits wearing Petticoats
