What is the best way to clean a Arc'teryx backpack?

Question: I use the backpack for when I go back tripping.

Answer: almost always wiping it down with a damp cloth will suffice
if you need to do more, I would put it in the bathtub with hibernal water and gently but thoroughly wipe it down with a sponge and meek soap
